I vote no on this one, too. Ha, I'm not much help. But, LJ had a good point that I thought to mention ... say the name a lot with the last name. When we were walking last night, we tested out a few! Nash Smith and Briggs Smith sort of melt together since both first names end with the "s" sound and the last name starts with the "s" sound. Just something to think about! You know I'll love whatever you do!

I like Rowan the best actually out of all the names! Sorry to be against your SIL!

I vote for Tate :)

I love all the voting/opinions/help!! really!

stephanie, i just told Justin last night that Nash was out since it didn't sound good saying it with Smith...and Briggs is on the line for me for that reason also! Smith is a hard last name!!!

but now, my silly husband is voting Tate off the list...says it sounds too "hillbilly" or something. ugh!

Mandy, this name thing is cracking me up. I obsess over names and have totally insane associations with various names. So in general I'm a total lunatic. Like this weird Sarah Rule that siblings names should "match". I couldn't have an Ashby and then a Bob. what would be weird :) If you can't tell, I'm big into surnames as first names. I spent a lot of time going through various last names for people in both families. Ashby Bryant and Reed Hayes - all surnames! :) I actually really like Rowan the best, plus I like Rowan and Ruby Belle combo. I can't help but think of tater when I hear Tate, sorry!

Sarah, you're so funny!! if you didn't take all the cool surnames already i'd LOVE one!! ;-) seriously your boys have great names! and yes, i agree w/having to go w/the sibling name...which is also making it hard. that's one of the reasons i liked Rowan...i think it goes well with Ruby Belle. and i'll take any cool surnames you can come up with and aren't going to use on any future kids ;-)

Well my next is Blair no matter what, boy or girl. Blair-Kate (Blair Kathryn) or Blair James. You could always do your maiden name like me. It's a Southern tradition! I'll be thinking... :)

i LOVE Blair!! so are you planning on maybe having another?!

and I would use my middle name, but my cousin already used it for her boy. bummer, huh?! Justin's middle name is Payton and we like it, but it reminds me of Peyton Manning and there are probably lots of kids these days named that...
